They/them/theirs
Chand Raj is an intuitive Tarot Card Reader, yogi, energy healer, and illustration artist.
They have guided clients for 6 years, and have been in relationship with tarot cards for 16 years.
Since they were young they were fascinated by the unseen; spirits, the subtle universe, and our true nature as human beings. Chand Raj loves creating beauty and story telling, and at one time they were intent on being a designer for film and theatre. Their life split open when they overcame addiction, and shifted to work in holistic healthcare. That experience working through the pandemic opened their eyes to the pervading fear of the unknown in our culture.
Their personal practice as a tarot card reader became public when they were invited to offer readings at Tenzing Momo, famous apothecary in the Pike Place Market, Seattle. There Chand Raj met seekers from all over the world who were ready to open their eyes to the unknown.
Chand Raj believes that our past, present, and future are all known things to our true selves, to our soul. Tarot cards merely reflect this inner knowledge, with the perspective needed for people to help themselves.

What Happens In a Reading?
In a tarot card reading, Chand Raj weaves together a message from the seeker’s higher self and their spirit guides, to guide their journey and illuminate their life path. Tarot cards reflect this message, often revealing the seekers innate knowledge of where to go next, how to best help themselves, and what is possible for them.
Chand Raj offers practices attuned to the needs of the individual. Their background in holistic healthcare, Kundalini Yoga, and traditional Ukrainian/polish spirituality lends itself to many channels for guidance.
What Are Tarot Cards?
Tarot Cards are a conduit for energy that reflect a seekers energetic body and the cosmic energy influencing their path. The system of Tarot as we know it has been developed since as early as the 15th century, though some speculate that the inspiration for Tarot traces as far back as ancient China, India, and Africa, with similar card games.
Various Spiritualists in the 18th & 19th century projected that Tarot came from occult societies in Egypt, at a time when foreign esoterica was very in-fashion amongst the European bourgeoise. In reality, it’s most likely that Tarot originated from card games popular in 14th century Italy, and adapted centuries onward for prestigious families.
The use of Tarot for divination begins in the 18th century, by occultists of the time, who began to assign planetary, numeric, astrologic, cabalistic, and symbology to the Tarot system. Thus created a tool for inner exploration of the soul, meditation, and consultation.
Does Tarot Foretell the Future?
Tarot Cards reflect the most likely predicable outcomes based on a person’s present moment. It picks up on the planetary energies that are moving through us, the energy and histories of our physical body, and ultimately what our soul is here to accomplish on earth.
Chand Raj believes that the future is flexible, and is ultimately what we make of the landscape unfolding before us. Tarot Cards reveal the path we are walking, and is a great perspective on whether we really want to go there. This perspective lends us the autonomy to choose to make an educated change, or strengthen the resolve of where we are going.
When should I get a reading?
Do you feel like you don’t know where you’re going? Do you have a decision to make and you’re not sure what to do? Are you in a relationship you’re not clear about? Are you ready to take the next big leap in your career and aren’t sure if it’s the right move? Have you experienced dramatic changes in your life?
These are great times that people pursue readings, and no one needs to have a reason to pursue a reading. It is very rewarding to learn about how things are going and what is next in any context.
